William "Bill" Ray Cook, 70, of Bentonville, AR formerly of Camden, AR, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024. He was born April 19, 1954, in Camden, AR. He was the son of the late Dan and Janet Sharp Cook. He was a 1972 graduate of Camden High School, graduate of Southern Arkansas University where he was active in the choir and golf team, served as President of the Kiwanis in 1994, 1995-1996 served as Kiwanis Lieutenant Governor Division 25, 1999 served as City of Camden Alderman Ward 2, served as President of Dan Cooks, and was a member of Camden First Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Janet Sharp Cook, grandparents, Ray and Ruby Cook and Gaston and Hester Hewitt Sharp.

He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Heather Williams and husband, Dr. Jarod Williams of Fayetteville, AR; grandchildren, Cecelia Williams (14) and Zan Williams (12) both of Fayetteville, AR; two sisters, Brenda Thompson and husband, Bruce of Camden, AR and Pat Barnes and husband, Kenny of Forney, TX; nephew, Austin Barnes of Forney, TX; brother, Danny Cook and wife, Sunni of Camden, AR; nephew, Nathan Cook of Conway, AR; niece, Cameron Cook of Chicago, IL.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Benton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center 3501 SE L Street, Bentonville, AR 72712.

Graveside service will be held 2:00PM Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Camden, AR. Rev. Mike Seabaugh will officiate the service. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
