William Earl Braswell Jr. (Billy), 63, of Lake Village, AR, passed away Saturday, October 24th 2026. He was born November, 29th 1962 to Bill and Norma Braswell of Camden, AR. He graduated from Fairview High School in 1981 and later received his bachelors degree from Southern Arkansas University. He retired in May of 2025 after teaching middle school and high school English for 26 years.

 He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Norma Braswell. He is survived by his brother Donny Braswell of Camden, sisters Kathleen Carmody and husband Scott of Camden, Jeannie Franklin and husband Rodney of Camden. Several nieces and nephews, Scotty Carmody (Whitley), Brett Carmody, Andrew Carmody, Bailey Roberson (Bryndan), Justin Franklin, Erin Roberts (Bryant), and Saylor Franklin, and a host of family and friends. Billy was a loving son, brother and uncle, and will be greatly missed.

 A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Holly Springs Cemetery in Holly Springs, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
