William Earl "Bill" Braswell 84 of Camden, AR passed away Monday, December 16, 2024. He was born October 7th, 1940 to Pat and Juanita Braswell of Camden, AR. He graduated from Fairview High School in 1958. In May of 1961, he married Norma Jean Riggs. They were married for 62 years and raised four children together. Bill was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He owned and operated Braswell Construction Co. for the majority of his career, and after retiring he held different positions for Ouachita County and the City of Camden. He truly never stopped working even in retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents Pat and Juanita Braswell and his wife Norma Jean Braswell. He is survived by his sister Gilda Leonard and husband Jim of Cabot, AR two sons Billy Braswell of Lake Village, AR, and Donny Braswell of Camden, AR. Two daughters Kathleen Carmody and husband Scott of Camden, AR, and Jeannie Franklin and husband Rodney of Camden, AR. Grandchildren, Scotty Carmody, Brett Carmody, Andrew Carmody, Bailey Carmody, Justin Franklin, Erin Roberts, and her husband Bryant, and Saylor Franklin; and a host of family and friends. His greatest joy in life was his family.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 5:00PM-7:00PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 10:00AM at Holly Springs Cemetery in Holly Springs, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
