Virginia Wood Frost, born March 7, 1935 to Fred and Bessie Wood, passed from this life to her heavenly home on November 26, 2024.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Frost and a brother, Jessie Wood.

She is survived by  her children, Charlotte Young of Camden, Mike Oliver of Chidester; step-children, Terry Frost, Nicci White, Krista Warren, and Debbie DeRosse; grandchildren, Stephanie Mitchell, Chris Langley, Charlsie Langley (Norman) and Kaleb Cormier; six great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Emma Jean Wood of Chidester as well as many extended family members including her church, Cullendale First Baptist, and Ruby Snyder Ministry where she loved to volunteer.  She also loved doing genealogy research and was a member of many societies including DAR, Colonial Dames and the Mayflower Society.

The family wishes to express special thanks to Pam Clay, Pam Womack and Lana Meadows who showed her love and kindness during her final years.

Memorials may be made to the Ruby Snyder Ministry or Feed My Sheep Soup Kitchen.

Visitation will be from 10:00AM to 11:00AM Saturday, November 30, 2024 prior to the service at 11:00AM at Proctor Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery.
