Vera loved time with her family and friends more than anything. Over the past several years she has lived with her daughter Kim, and son-in-law Charles "Chuck". She constantly told everyone how thankful she was to have them care for her.
She loved her community of Hampton and Harrell, AR and worked 16 years at Town and Country Grocery Store where she made an impact on so many. Vera loved unconditionally and with her whole heart. She kept people smiling, laughing, and made everyone feel like her family. She was also an amazing vocalist and would often sing at Veterans Gatherings in Branson Missouri. When she would sing, people said she sounded "just like Loretta Lynn" who was one of her favorite artists.
She loved to travel, especially her yearly trip to Eureka Springs, AR with daughter Kim and granddaughter Kristan. Kristan and Vera had a special relationship and Kristan would jokingly call Vera "her real Mom".
Vera was a very special person who loved and cared for others throughout her life. She loved God and would always say "The Good Lord will take care of me, he always does."
