Vada Nell Lane Cook Moore, 87 of Camden, AR passed away peacefully at her son's home on September 10, 2022. Vada was a graduate of Stephens High School serving as a majorette and member of the basketball team. Vada was an Executive Secretary and Vice President of First National Bank of Camden. Her professional volunteer service included the Camden Business and Professional Women's Assn, Treasurer for the development of the Frenchport Water Assn. She actively supported the Frenchport Volunteer Fire Department. After retirement her volunteer service included serving as a Frenchport polster for Ouachita County and Ouachita County Hospital Gift Shop. Vada enjoyed camping at Lake DeGray with her children and grandchildren. She loved her church and was a member of the Elliott Baptist Church.

Vada was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Florence Lane; sister, Mary Margaree Lane Thompson; husbands, Dorn Cook and James Randolph Moore; son, Jeffrey Allen Cook.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Catherine Cook of Hope, AR; son, Kerry Dorn Cook (Jolane) of Texarkana, AR; step-daughter, Stephanie Moore (Kathy) of Hot Springs; step-son, Steven Hale Moore (Gail) of Camden, AR; three wonderful grandchildren, Kate Cook Pranger (Mark) of Little Rock, AR, Justin Hale Moore (Fini) of Paragould, AR and Mary Cook of Texarkana, AR and a great grandson, Bennett Pranger of Little Rock, AR.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM Monday, September 12, 2022 at Proctor Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00AM Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Mt. Horeb Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
