Timothy A. Walcheck was born on July 10, 1948, at Saint John Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio to Theresa Anderson Walcheck and Herbert J. Walcheck. He passed away at the age of 74 on December 10, 2022, surrounded by his loving family at his home, in Soddy Daisy, TN. He graduated from Max S. Hayes High School in 1966. Upon his graduation he enlisted in the US Army (Vietnam Era), being honorably discharged on March 25, 1972. On October 24, 1975, Timothy married the love of his life, Carol McCarthy Walcheck, and they resided in Lakewood, Cleveland, and Wellington, Ohio. Timothy worked for Electric Welder Repair, proudly retiring after 28 years.  In 2014, Timothy and Carol had the opportunity to relocate to Soddy Daisy, TN, due to a job opportunity transfer for Carol.

Timothy was devoted to God, was extremely proud of his family, and loved his country. He was an avid gardener and enjoying tinkering on his vintage automobiles. He will be missed by all of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Timothy is preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Anderson Walcheck, father, Herbert J. Walcheck, and his brothers Neil and Craig. Timothy is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Carol McCarthy Walcheck, his cherished children, Catherine Houston (Ed), Daniel (Kim), Bryan (Christine), and Kimberly Lucas (Josh). Grandfather of 10, Great Grandfather of 1, and Uncle to many. Timothy is also survived by his dearest sister, Gayle Murphy (Fred).

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the excellent and compassionate care provided by the nurses and staff at CHI Memorial, located Chattanooga, TN. Also, the compassion, sense of urgency, and comfort care provided by Hearth Hospice of Chattanooga, TN.

The family honored Timothy's wishes to be cremated, with no services.
