Suzanne Kerr Brandon Porter, age 77, of Camden, Arkansas, died on November 5, 2025, at Silver Oaks Nursing Home.
Suzanne was born on June 14, 1948, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late George (Hap) and Mildred Kerr Brandon. She and her family moved to El Dorado, Arkansas in the summer of 1981. Suzanne was active in her children's elementary schools and spent many years volunteering and running the various PTA's. She worked at the Union County Health Department and American Home Patient. She and her husband, Andy, relocated to Camden, Arkansas in 2012 to be near her daughter and grandchildren, Suzanne was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of El Dorado where she had many supportive roles including Deacon, Elder, and vacation bible school chair over the years. She volunteered for Share Hospice and was active in fundraising and other duties.
Suzanne is proceeded in death by her husband of 50 years, Andy Porter, her parents, her brother, Joe B. Brandon, along with other family members and friends.
She is survived by her two daughters: Patti McGilton of Monroe, Louisiana and Lori DeWoody (Shawn) of Camden, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Colton DeWoody, Kerrstyn DeWoody, Paxton McGilton, Finley McGilton, and nieces and nephews of Tennessee.
A memorial Service for immediate family and close friends will be held at Calvary Baptist Church at 319 US-278, Camden, AR, on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 2:00 pm a visitation with the family beginning at 1:30pm. In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
