Susie Marie Thompson Wilkins (Sue) was born July 19, 1938, in Camden, AR to Claude Joseph Granderson Thompson, Sr. and Thelma Elizabeth Lee Thompson.  She passed away peacefully on April 4, 2023.  She was a nurse for more than fifty years in many nursing facilities around Camden.  She was married to the love of her life for forty-nine years.  She loved her family fiercely and enjoyed spending any time she could with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne; two sons, Billy Ray and David Wilkins; two daughters, Susan Ritchey and Sandra Mullins; a son-in-law, Randy Ritchey; grandsons Dylan Basinger and Timothy Hailey and siblings Margie Thompson Reynolds, Robert Thompson, Helen Thelma Thompson Langston, Claude Joseph Granderson Thompson, Jr. Roy E. Thompson and Charles E.  Thompson.

Sue is survived by a son, Tommy Wilkins (Darla); a daughter, Carolyn Denton; a daughter in law, Phyllis Wilkins and a special son Scott Hailey (Cathy);  granddaughters Michelle Orrell (Jeff), Sarah Wilkins, Nikki Estes (Jordan), Emily Payne, Jana Mclelland (Chase), Stormi Wright (Nathan) and Cait Hobbs (Eli); great grandchildren Tanner Smith (Julia), Keylee and Aiden Sanchez, Noah and Daniel Hensley, Link and Jak Payne, James and Jordan Brown, Jude Mclelland, Colton, Parker and Kennedy Wright, Ethan and Tanner Hobbs and Berkley and Kason Estes.

Funeral service will be 10:00AM Friday, April 07, 2023 at Proctor Funeral Home With burial in Crossroads Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5-7 Thursday at the funeral home.
