Steven L. Green, 66, of Chidester, AR, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. He was born October 4, 1957, in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Everette and Daphne Pruitt Green. He was employed by Lockheed Martin, loved to hunt and fish, play golf and big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He served in the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Daphne Green.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Green of Chidester, AR; 3 daughters, Mary Green Kelley and husband, C.J. of Camden, AR, Christina Nussey of Chidester, AR and Theresa Green of St. Louis, MO; stepson, Roger Nussey of Camden, AR; father, Everette Green of St. Louis, MO; 4 brothers, Mike Green, Bryan Green and wife, Brenda, Kevin Green and wife, Sharon of St. Louis, MO and Jeb Smith of Holly Springs, AR; 10 grandchildren, Chris Jenkins, Chelsey Purifoy, Brooklyn Kelley, Summer Myatt, Christopher Nussey, Kathyrn Vondohlen, Kimberly Christian, Marie Mercurio, Kathyrn Mercurio and George Mercurio; 6 great-grandchildren, Haze Pate, Dixie Christian, Aubrey Christian, Jaxon Yoh, August Myatt and Evelyn Vondohlen; host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM Friday, August 9, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home. Memorial service will be 10:00AM Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
