Steven Powell Dixon, 60, died April 27, 2024.  He was born in Camden, AR May 8, 1963, to Jimmy and Carol Dixon.  He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents.  Steve is survived by his father, Jimmy Dixon; two brothers, Gary Dixon (Brandy) and Houston Dixon (Hannah); his aunt, Joan McMahen, cousins Greg and Lynne and Susan Lindsey and husband, Todd; as well as several nieces and nephews; Britni (Matthew), Stephen (Ashley), Ember, Lendon, Relda, and Jameson.

Anyone that knew Steve knew he enjoyed spending time outdoors; especially hunting and fishing. He loved to bass fish, deer hunt, and turkey hunt. That is how he spent most of his free time.

Steve was a hard worker; dedicating the last several years of his life to Lockheed Martin as a machinist. He enjoyed his work and his coworkers. He was never one to turn down overtime, even during his hard-fought battle with cancer. Steve would more often than not go to work even after chemotherapy treatments, and if he couldn't go the day of, he would work that Friday. He was tough and his fight against cancer was a true testament to that.

Steve loved his family, his work, and the outdoors. He will be missed by his family, friends, and coworkers.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Harmony Grove Cemetery with visitation one hour prior to the service.
