Obituary

Shelda Ann Sevier Biniakewitz, born November 27, 1945, a lifelong resident of Camden, AR stepped into the arms of her Savior at her daughter's home in St. Augustine, FL Saturday December 6, 2025.

She was a member of Cullendale Assembly of God Church. She loved her church family, serving and volunteering in a variety of ways most of her life. For many years she provided a daycare in her home and considered herself very blessed to have the opportunity to care for so many children. Most of her life she was very active in church sports and community events. In her later years, she found great joy in volunteering at the Ruby Snider Ministry Center helping ladies in need.

She was never one to take the lead.  She was sweet and quiet in spirit, yet she was always willing to serve behind and alongside her family and friends to help when and wherever needed. Shelda never strived for attention, but many people have known the comfort of her soft, prayerful spirit and received godly wisdom and prayer…usually in her kitchen over a plate of food or a homemade dessert.  She was a second mom to many in the church and community.

Shelda is proceeded in death by her husband of 55 years, Michael. Her parents Michael Elbridge "Bridge" Sevier and Bonnie Morris Sevier. Two siblings, Louise Sevier Sales and John E. "Bud" Sevier.

She is survived by her two children, Rev. Morris Kelley Biniakewitz (Sheelah) of Rogers, AR and Karen Michele Kennon (Scott) of St. Augustine, FL. One sister Brenda Joy Sevier Johnston (Jim) of Shreveport, LA. Seven grandchildren, Jacob Elbridge Biniakewitz (Katy) of Russellville, AR, Savanah Biniakewitz Smith (Zach) of Prairie Grove, AR. Marshall Levi Biniakewitz and Isaac Linfield Biniakewitz of Rogers, AR, Mackenzie Lane Kennon, Logan Reaves Kennon, and Scott Andrew Kennon, II of St. Augustine, FL.  2 great grandchildren; Ezra and Kohen Biniakewitz of Russellville, AR, in addition to a host of nieces and nephews along with countless people that saw her as a second mother and friend.

Visitation will be at 10:00am Saturday December 20th at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden AR with funeral service to follow immediately at 11:00am. Internment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
