Sharon (Sherry)
Lynn Randolph
Dec 26, 1949 — Nov 3, 2024
Camden
Sharon (Sherry) Lynn Parker Randolph, 74, of Camden, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024. Sherry was born December 26, 1949, in Delaware, Ohio.
Sherry was a bright light and force of nature to all who knew her, known for gift-giving, generosity, love for horror films, cats, garage sales, Bunco, and most of all, her husband and family. She loved decorating for all holidays and collected roosters and Christmas ornaments. She taught at Fred Whiteside Elementary School for many years before retiring to help her husband run his business in Texas. She and Ron were married for 55 years and loved each other in a way most people can only hope to achieve.
Sherry was preceded in death by her son, Ian Matthew Randolph of Camden, AR; her brother, Michael Parker, of Barnesville, Ohio; her parents, Eula and AC Allen of Clarington, Ohio; and her grandparents, Ruby and Ona Smith of Grantsville, WV.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Alan Randolph of Camden; her daughter, Nikki Randolph (Lisa McKinley) of New Orleans; her stepson, Eric Saunders Randolph (Joy) of SC; her grandsons, Jordan, Trent, and Thane; her granddaughters, Ainsley, Tori, and Taylin; her sisters Beverly Kinzy Zimmer (Eric) and Debbie Myers (Charlie) of Ohio; her brother, Thomas Allen (Earnest) of Portugal; her sister-in-law Betsy Parker (Michael) of Barnesville, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and family and friends.
The world will miss Sherry Randolph and everyone who knew her understands what we mean.
Services will be at 10 am on November 9 at First United Methodist Church in Camden. There will be a reception open to all her loved ones and friends afterward. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Sherry cares a lot about children and cats so instead of flowers, Sherry asks that you donate to H&P Animal Alliance in Magnolia (http://www.hpanimalalliance.org/) or Sue's Food Pantry at First United Methodist Church (https://www.camdenfumc.com/faith-and-fellowship).
