Obituary

Scotty Lynn Stewart, 57, of Camden, AR, died in his home on September 29, 2023. He was born to Alfred and Barbara Stewart who adored their son wholeheartedly. He attended school in his hometown of Sparkman, AR and went on to study at SAU Tech before going to work at Lockheed Martin, where he devoted over 30 years of hard work. During his time there, Scotty met his perfect match, Cindy in 1990. The two were married on February 14, 1992 in Camden, AR. Scotty will always be remembered for how well he loved, his honesty, and his strong dislike for Jimmy Johnson (number 48 car). He was wise, caring, and a straight shooter. We'll always imagine hearing him say "y'all be careful, I love y'all, call me when you get there." one more time. We couldn't have asked for a better son, brother, husband, father, and papaw, and will miss him every day. Scotty's memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.

Scotty was preceded in death by his Grandparents; Buford and Addie Robbins, and Jewel and Amberline Stewart. His Father-in-law and dear friend; Raymond James. He is survived by his parents, his younger sister Lori (Jeremy) and their two children: Jacie and Jackson, his wife Cindy and the James family, his children and honorary daughter Lindsey, grandchildren and many more family, and friends who loved him.

Scotty was a loving and wise father to two sons; Heath (Kastle) Merritt of Parker's Chapel, AR, and Wade (Audrey) Rodermund of Jonesboro, AR. While Scotty loved being a father, his favorite roll was Papaw. There was nothing he treasured more than time with his grandkids; whether it was a walk to the shop, playing on the floor, or anything else he could use as a reason to be with them. He was Papaw to 8 grandkids: Katie Lee Edmonson, Brylee Renee Bryant, Timothy Scott Alan Rodermund, Emma Jean Rodermund, Rachel Annmarie Rodermund, Josiah James Rodermund, Ryatt Scout Merritt, and Mercy May Merritt. Along with a great Granddaughter Emberlynn Rose
