Sarah Hixson was born July 31, 1939, to Frank and Lorene Pfeifer in Camden, AR. She passed from this life on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Sarah is survived by her husband, Laddie Hixson of Tenaha, TX; one daughter, Suzanne Scull of Tenaha, TX; three sons, Doug Hixson of Longmont, CO, Mark Hixson of Camden, AR and David Hixson of Lonoke, AR. Sarah has 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Sarah was married to her husband Laddie for 58 years.

Sarah was retired from the Arkansas Fire Academy where she worked for many years but also was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her husband, her family and her church. She served faithfully at Grace Baptist Church, Hampton.

Visitation at Proctor Funeral Home Tuesday night 5:00-7:00PM. Services for Sarah Ann Hixson will be Wednesday December 7, 2022, at Cullendale First Baptist Church at 1:00PM followed by interment in Chidester Cemetery
