Ruby Eppinette, 91, passed from this life to be with her savior Jesus Christ on July 18, 2023. She was born Ruby Lee Johnson to Oliver and Pearl (Madden) Johnson in Oak Grove, Louisiana on January 23, 1932. She was a member of Elliott Baptist Church for the past 55 years. She taught children's Sunday school for many years. Later she was a member of the "Dorcas" Sunday school class which she dearly loved. Her favorite pastime included flower beds, and gardening. She will be most remembered for her desire that her children and grandchildren would come to love the Lord and be successful.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, W.R. "Rosey" Eppinette; one son, Phil Eppinette; one grandson, Daniel Eppinette; three brothers, Odell Johnson, T.J. Johnson, and R.L. Johnson; one sister, Geraldine Perry.

She is survived by two sons, Randy Eppinette (Vickie) of Camden, Jason Eppinette (Kerry) of Texarkana; three grandsons, Adam Eppinette of Chidester, Chance Eppinette of Camden, Ethan Eppinette (Hannah) Texarkana; one granddaughter, Erin Eppinette of Texarkana; one great-grandson, Trevor Eppinette of Chidester; one sister, Joyce Dartlon of West Monroe, Louisiana; many nephews, nieces and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00PM Friday, July 21, 2023, at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Elliott Baptist Church. Bro. Johnny Parrack will officiate. The burial will be in Mt. Horeb Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
