Roy Anthony Magby, 52, of Magnolia, AR passed away Monday, November 14, 2022 at his home. He was born October 1, 1970 in Camden, AR to James and Joyce Magby.

Roy was preceded in death by his father James Magby. He is survived by his wife Virginia Magby; his three children, James Joshua Magby (Alethea) of Searcy, AR, Tiffanie Anne Aregood (Richard) of Camden, AR, and Michale Anthony Magby (Rachel) of Cabot, AR; his mother, Joyce Magby of Camden, AR; his sister, Tammy Phillips of Camden, AR, Cathy (Dale) Wolfe of Camden, AR, and Sterling (Lynn) Magby of Florida; his brother James Magby (Ginger) of Camden, AR; two grandchildren, Aubrie May Aregood and Paylen Alan Shewmaker of Camden, AR; and a host of many nieces and nephews; and his dog Patty Mae.

Roy was a man who loved to work and spend time with family. He was a social person. Anyone who knew him knew he would be there awhile if he only showed up to ask a question or two. Roy loved his family and friends. He loved his wife more than anything. He would tell everyone how special she was and how much she loved her. Also, his two grandbabies were his world. He would always have to talk about them or show pictures or videos of them to everyone. Roy was a good man who was taken to soon but has impacted so many people's lives in some way, shape, or form.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Proctor Funeral Home to help cover funeral expenses. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
