Obituary

Rosetta McKenzie was born in Amy, AR. She was the daughter of the late Nathan and Estella Glasper King. She was born on October 14, 1943. She was the youngest of 8 children. She passed away on September 14, 2022.Rosetta accepted Christ at an early age in life at Rising Star Baptist Church of Amy, AR under the leadership of Rev. Frankie C. Dawn. Her favorite Bible verse was Psalms 23.

She attended Union Grove High School. She started her life career as a licensed cosmetologist. She also attended Prescott Nursing School. She worked many years at General Dynamics. She lived her life helping others especially taking care of all her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish is her four daughters; Angela (Greg) Johnson, Tammy (Cedric) Gregory, Janice Scott, Lisa (Min. Reggie) Morris; brother, Pastor Earnest O. King; 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends. She is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00PM Friday, September 23, 2022 at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in New St. Mary Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
