Cliff Pinkerton born on December 20, 1943 left this world on Sunday, February 17, 2024.  He was the son of the late Clifton Grady and Mildred Lucille Thrailkill Pinkerton.  He attended Fairview School and graduated in 1961.  He attended business college in Shreveport, LA with several of his classmates.  Later he managed a Carpenter bedding factory which he retired from and moved to White Oak.  He was a bail bondsman in this area for quite sometime.  He enjoyed writing short stories and writing articles to the local newspaper.  He was Jaycee of the year in 1978.  His classmates of Fairview 1961 were all his close and dearest friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Millie Harrington.

He is survived by his wife, Velma Pinkerton; son, Jeff Pinkerton and wife, Mandy; two grandsons, Cole Pinkerton, and Conner Wilson ; sister, Phyllis Pinkerton; and a host of friends.

Memorial service will be 1:00PM Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12:00-1:00PM Saturday, February 24, 2024. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
