Rick had various hobbies and passions such as golf, racing his dwarf car (#35) at the dirt track, deer hunting at the family deer camp, and fishing and duck hunting with his friends. He was once awarded the Triple Trophy for his skills by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Olen Williams, Jr., his daughter Emily Holland, his nephew Kelly Frachiseur, and his brother-in-law Jimmy L. Johnson, Sr.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Gwen Lokey Williams, his son Christopher Shawn Silkwood, sisters Olenda Johnson and Charlotte Gayle Smith, brother-in-law Kenneth W. Smith, nephews Jimmy L. Johnson, Jr. (Laura) and family, Jake Smith (Caitlan), and Ken Frachiseur, niece Sarah Smith-Tucker (Justin) and family, and many, many, devoted and dearly loved friends.
