Rex Wallingsford, 80, died October 10, 2023.  He was born May 30, 1943, in Camden, AR to Hugh and Elsie Clemens Wallingsford.  In addition to his parents, Rex was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Wallingsford and three sisters, Thelma Freeman, Dorothy Perry, and Helen Jackson. He is survived by his wife, Emma Wallingsford; a son, Timothy Wallingsford; a daughter, Kimberly Carter (Clay); two granddaughters, Stephanie Matkin (Juston) and Sydney Wallingsford (Brandon Riley); a great granddaughter, Kimber Matkin and several nieces and nephews.

Rex loved all Razorback sports, especially football.  You could always count on him to call the Hogs!

Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00-8:00 Thursday, October 12, 2023.  Services will be 10:00 Friday at Proctor Funeral Home.
