Reba Maurine Nutt Coopwood was born September 5, 1934, in Little Bay, Arkansas to Ora Mae Young Nutt and Roy M Nutt.  She passed away April 29, 2023, at the age of 88 at Ouachita Nursing and Rehab in Camden, Arkansas. She started working at International Paper at the age of 17 and retired from there 43 years later. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing all sorts of card games with family and friends. She was a tough Rummikub opponent, she played Canasta & Rook and if you won any game played with her you earned it! She was a faithful friend, she kept her iPhone hot texting and calling, checking on friends and loved ones.  Music was a big part of her life, and she loved sharing her love of music with others even in the nursing home she would be blasting Fats Dominio, Elvis Presley, Little Richard and Glenn Miller.  She enjoyed her gameshows and the St. Louis Cardinals.  She always watched the Arkansas Razorbacks but would mute the TV announcers and listen to the play by play on the radio. She was a loving wife, sister, mother and Meme. She will be missed by many.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Bobby Gene, her parents, and sisters Ann Wilson and Fern Garrett. She is survived by her daughter Paula Douthit and her husband David; sisters Faye Bass of Little Rock and Rosemary Fuller of Hot Springs; grandchildren Robin Hicks of Gloucester, VA and wife Taylor, Kevin Hicks of Lenexa, KS and his wife Manisha and Rachel Jones of Hot Springs and husband Ryan.  She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends are cordially invited to visitation at Proctor Funeral Home at 442 Jefferson St. SW in Camden, AR, on the evening of Tuesday May 2, from 5-7. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on the 3rd of May 2023 at Proctor Funeral Home where the Reverend Kathryn Burchfield, Terrie Lynn Bunnell and Don Phillips will serve as officiants.  Burial will follow at Mt Horeb Cemetery. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at Ouachita Nursing and Rehab and DaVita Dialysis in Camden. The family also requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the Fairview United Methodist Church Food Pantry in Reba Coopwood's name.
