Ralph Edward Griggs, 90 of Camden passed away 11 May 2025.  He was the son of John Samuel Griggs and Odell Medlin Griggs of Hughes, Arkansas.  He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Glendle Helton Griggs and his daughter, Lisa Griggs Craig (Jim) of Edgewater, FL.  He is survived by three granddaughters, Major Emma Craig Brown (Mike) of Ocean Springs, MS, Jamie Craig of Atlanta, Ga, and Charlotte Craig of New York City, NY, great granddaughter, Brianne Brown.  He is also survived by one brother, Randle Griggs (Pamela) of Phoenix, AZ and one nephew, Scott Griggs of Linden, WA.  He was preceded in death by his son, Marcus Neal Griggs.

Ralph served in the U.S. Army in Korea at 8th Army Headquarters before graduating from the University of AR, Fayetteville. He was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity for more than 50 years.   He joined the JC Penney Company after graduation and enjoyed a long and successful career as Store Manager in Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
