Perkins Millican, 77, born November 06, 1948, and died, Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Cox Health. He was preceded in death by his father, Glennis Perkins Millican, mother, Verdna Mae Millican; sister, Charlene Pelt, and brothers, Billy Wayne Millican, Dallas Millican and Sidney Millican. 

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Lou Marks Millican; two sons, Shane Millican and wife, Donna and Allen Millican; one daughter, Jessica Millican and husband, Alex; brother, Curtis Millican.

He worked at the Camden Bag Pak and Lockheed Martin. He was proud of his military service in the Navy. He was 3rd class Boatsman Mate over a crew of men on the ship. He said he walked around with a cup of coffee. He was in Vietnam 4 times and got 4 medals for that. He was very reliable at fixing Jessica’s car problems. He loved to play sports when he was younger, he was good at bowling, liked to roller skate, squirrel hunt, horseback ride, garage sales, flea markets, getting a good deal, and watching western movies He had a sweet tooth for the cupcakes that Jessica shared with him. He and Betty loved fishing at night with yoyo’s since it was fun and easy. They also enjoyed sitting around a relaxing campfire.

He was a man of his word, faith and family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 07, 2026, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, July 08, 2026, at Proctor Funeral Home.
