Obituary

Paul Reagon, age 82, passed away on February 11, 2025, at Silver Oaks Health and Rehab. He was born on September 10, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland to Paul Reagon, Sr. and Charlotte Brown. Paul graduated from Hampton High School in Hampton Virginia in 1960. He attended Citadel Military College from 1963-1965.

During his life he worked at the Civil Defense Naval Weapon Center in China Lake, CA, Lockheed Martin Skunkworks in Lancaster Palmdale, CA, NASA in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Naval Weapons Station in Newport News, VA and ARC/ Aerojet in East Camden, AR.

He was a member of the Freemasons, Scottish Rite, Knights Templar, Arkansas Railroad Museum, Cotton Belt Railroad Historical Society, Southern Pacific Railroad Historical Society, National Model Railroad Association, and Victory Church of Camden.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carmelita A. Reagon; sister, Sheila Burcher, stepfather, Robert M. Brown, daughter, Susanna K. (Reagon) Graus; and cousin, John Hughes. He is survived by his son, John Reagon of Camden, AR; daughter, Tracy Reagon of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter, Heather Reagon Bowles and husband Mark, of Suffolk, VA; son, Benny McQuerry of Huntsville, AL; son, Jared McQuerry of Chico, CA; granddaughter, Casey Reagon of Camden, AR; granddaughter, Lacy Lucas and husband Bobby of Fremont, MI; Trisha Ripley and husband A.J. of Howard City, MI; Collette Powles and husband Jeff of Camden, AR; great-grandson, DJ Lucas of Fremont, MI; great-granddaughter, Jazmyne Lucas of Fremont, MI; great-grandson, Avery Lucas of Fremont, MI; great-grandson, Kaleb Ripley of Howard City, MI; great-granddaughter, Ariya Powles of Camden, AR; great-grandson, Gunnar Ripley of Howard City, MI; great-grandson, Grayson Lucas of Fremont, MI; great-grandson, Kingston Lucas of Fremont, MI; great-granddaughter, Kaileigh Ripley of Howard City, MI; great-grandson, Gavin Wilson of Camden, AR; son-in-law, Frank Graus of Howard City, MI, niece, Charlotte Burcher of Hampton, VA; Nephew, John Burcher and wife Mary of Yorktown, VA; great-niece, Ellie Burcher of Yorktown, VA; great-nephew, Jack Burcher of Yorktown, VA; and step-sister, Karen Livsey of Falconer, NY.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 20th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 21st at 1:00 PM at Victory Church of Camden, AR with Pastor Jerry Ables facilitating the funeral service. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery will follow. Family requests that flowers are sent to Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, AR.
