Paul Eugene Fontenot, 63, of Chidester, AR, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024. He was born October 29, 1960, in Kinder, LA. He was a retired Millwright with International Paper Company.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Joseph, and Melda Louise Pierce Fontenot; two brothers, Steven Street and Clifford Fontenot; one sister, Cynthia Claypole. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Fontenot; daughter, Andrea Poplin; two brothers, Pierre, and Joe Fontenot; four sisters, Rita Fontenot, Pauline Edmonds, Francis Matte and Monica Daigle; host of nieces and nephews, Friends and Family.

Visitation will be 1:00-5:00PM Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Monday, February 12, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. A burial will follow in Forest Grove Cemetery, Taylor, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
