Patsy Irene Mason McCollum was born May 31, 1943, to Chester and Grace Mason of Girard, KS passed from this life on August 3, 2025. Patsy married Monte Ray McCollum on July 3, 1963. They had two children, Robin Bell (Roger) and Chris McCollum, both of Camden. Pat traveled the world with the love of her life supporting his career with the United States Air Force. They spent many years in Niceville, FL where they retired and later made Camden, AR, their permanent home. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She was also an avid seamstress making dresses, costumes, and Christmas presents for all her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers, Gene and Richard Mason.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children Robin Bell (Roger) and Chris McCollum, sisters-in-laws Charolette Mason and Mary Kay Mason both of Girard, KS. Grandchildren Brandy Nicholson of Kennesaw, GA, Christina Kown of Hampton, GA, Megan McCollum of Maumelle, AR, Christa Word (Dillon) of Camden, AR, Alexis Waller (Steven) of Hampton, GA. Great Grandchildren Alyssa Kown, Zach Rowe, Matthew McCollum, Natalie Rosser, Victoria Rowe, Ella Word, Damon Waller, Gemma Waller, River Kown, and Branten Word. As well as a host of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made VFW Post 4554 in Camden, AR.

Visitation will be held at the Proctor Chapel Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 6-8pm.
