Patricia Beard Wilson, 87, of Camden, went to be with her Lord on January 20, 2025. She was born in Camden on a Friday the thirteenth in August of 1937 to Lawrence Burl (L.B.) and Lou Beard.

She was a lifelong member of Cullendale First Baptist Church, where she served many years in the nursery and Sunday school classes. She was also passionate about meeting new friends and never met a stranger. She was a best friend to many, including several "bonus" children over the years and always had an open door to loved ones.

Despite traveling the world, she lived in a three-block radius her whole life, in Fairview. She loved her hometown and her alma mater of Fairview High School, where she graduated from in 1955. She worked 44 years at International Paper until retirement.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Dale Wilson, who also passed away on the same date in 2003. As well as her first and last love, Vernon Weaver.

She is survived by her three children, Robin Dunn, and husband John, of Camden, Tommy Wilson and wife Linda, of Knoxville, TN, and Dee Anna Cox, and husband John, of Camden, three grandchildren, Stephanie (Dunn) King, and husband Matt, Kaylee Cox, all of Camden, and John Cox, and wife Haley, of Bearden, as well as three great-grandchildren, all born within nine months time, Kyzer (Ky) Lee Bush, John Brooks (JB) Cox, and Jack Dunncan King. She is also survived by her only sibling, Lawrence (Larry) Beard, and wife Sherry, of El Dorado, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family invites all who knew and loved Pat to join them for a celebration of her life at 2:00PM on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Cullendale First Baptist Church. Bro. Lyle Hern will officiate. Visitation will be prior to the service, starting at 1pm.
