Obituary

Patricia (Pat) Briscoe Weaver Barnhart was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world for her Heavenly home on June 26 at age 84. She was born to A.Y. and Edna Weaver of Camden, Arkansas. After graduating from Fairview High school, Pat married her sweetheart, Reverend Cecil Barnhart. Together, they raised four children: Buddy, Susie, Randy and Jeff.

Pat loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family, friends and church family. Desserts were her specialty. Even as a seasoned cook she enjoyed trying new recipes. Just days before her death, she was talking about a fish fry for Pastor Conner. She was a casual piano player and loved gospel music. She enjoyed listening to her sister Helen play, especially at family gatherings. Pat absolutely loved planning and hosting family reunions. In her younger years she was passionate about bowling and was on a Camden bowling league for many years. She made many friends along the way.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Cecil; daughter Susie and son-in-law Clifford Jones; infant children Brenda Gail and Bobby Ray; grandson, Blake; bothers and sisters, BO, Eloise Reynolds, Viola White, Jim, Thelma Miller, A.Z., Mary Tucker, Ben, Vernon, Essie Lawson, & Tressie King.

She is survived by her sons; Buddy (Lynn), Randy (Julie) and Jeff (Kathy); 1 sister Helen Lochridge; 1 sister-in-law, Pat Barnhart Thompson; 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Thursday June 30th at First Assembly of God Church in Camden, Arkansas. Family will receive guests from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Proctor Funeral Home.
