With heavy hearts, we announce that Patricia Pipkin, 79, of Bearden, AR, passed away on April 6, 2026, surrounded by family after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

Patricia was born February 22, 1947, in Junction City, AR to Frank and Hattie James.

Pat was employed by Hays Rental & Sales for over 25 years.  She also spent a few years at Murphy Oil.  After many years in the accounting field, Pat went back to college and earned her accounting degree in 2000, then obtained her Certified Public Accountant certification in 2001.  Pat's church family was a huge part of her life, and she served in different areas, including Secretary/Treasurer.  She also served in many community and professional leadership roles, including President of both Camden BPW and Desk & Derrick organizations, where she met numerous friends and colleagues.  Pat enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling and seeing new sights with her friends and family.

She is survived by her children Stephanie Abbott (Wally) of Bearden and Shirley Adams of Rogers; grandchildren Blake Abbott (Stefanie) of Monticello, Lauren Robinson (Zac) of Charleston, Jessica Hardage (Shannon) of Bismarck, Sydney Abbott of Bearden, Matthew Lester of Bearden, Jacob and Bailey Adams of Rogers, and 7 great grandchildren; brother Henry James of Millry, Alabama and sister-in-law Delilah James of Bearden; bonus family, David Burkholder (Kristi) of Bearden, AR and LindaKay Lea (Jeremy) of Black Springs, AR; long time dear friend and employer, John Hays (Carolane); many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents and 7 siblings.

The family wants to thank her wonderful caregivers Brenda Strange and Teka Thrower.

Pallbearers are Wally Abbott, Blake Abbott, Zac Robinson, Shannon Hardage, Matthew Lester, Jacob Adams, Eli Robinson, David Burkholder, and Jeremy Lea.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Proctor Funeral Home from 6-8pm.  The Funeral service will be held at Proctor Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 10am.  Service will be officiated by Rev. Larry Stacy.
