Parker Edward Cox, 40, died September 17, 2022. He was born in Monterey, CA to Terry Max and Katherine Parker Cox. He had several different jobs that served the community. He worked for the Stephens Police Department, the Ouachita County Sheriff's Department as a patrol deputy, he was a school resource officer, supported Boy Scouts Troop #96, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Stephens, AR. He had helped get the Stephens Christian School Started in Stephens, AR. His greatest love was for his wife and four children. Everything he did was for them.

He is survived by his parents, Terry Max and Katherine Parker Cox; his wife, Cynthia Marie Cox; his four children, John Brock Sullivan, Madison Georgette Sullivan, Alice Monroe Cox, and Parker Dean Cox; a brother, Daniel Cox and his wife, Nicole; His family at the Sheriff's Department; a special family friend, Honey; and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 4:00PM. The address for the service is 1011 Ouachita 2, Stephens, AR. The family has asked in lieu of flowers if donations could be made to the Stephens Christian School at 315 Chert Street, Stephens, AR 71764. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
