Ornando Kantero Wesley was born on December 1, 1979, to Johnny Watkins and Connie Wesley in Camden, Arkansas. He transitioned from this earthly life on Wednesday, March 25th, at Willis Knighton Medical Center in Bossier, Louisiana, surrounded by his loved ones.

Ornando attended Camden Fairview High School, where he was known as a diligent and hardworking individual. Throughout his life, he held a variety of jobs, but he was most widely recognized for his work as a radio broadcaster for Magic 104.5. where, his beloved listeners knew him as "DJ O-Zone."

At a young age, Ornando gave his life to Christ at Mt. Gillard Missionary Baptist Church in Camden, Arkansas.

Ornando was well known and loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a kind-hearted person who would help anyone in need. He possessed a unique and distinctive warm voice that will truly be missed.

He deeply loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and took pride in always being well-dressed. He also had a strong appreciation for shoes, particularly retro Jordan's. A devoted Kobe Bryant fan, Ornando's admiration for him was well known.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hubbard and Corine Wesley; Walter Dean Watkins Sr. and Johnnie Watkins; his three aunts, Jennifer Wesley Arnold, Cathy Porchia, and Sandra Flannigan; and his uncle, Dwight Watkins.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Crystal Wesley and stepchildren: Kardell, Kameron, and Kirah Sonnier of Shreveport, Louisiana.  A special daughter, TaShanna Wesley of Camden, Arkansas. One grandson, Kingston Wesley of Camden, AR. His father, Johnny (Pamela) Watkins of Hampton, Virginia; his mother, Connie (Calvin) Thorn of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three brothers, Dejuan Sr. (Elizabeth) Wesley, Leon Wesley, both of Camden, Arkansas; and Jemez Haughton of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Janay (Noah) Watkins-Garcia of Hampton, Virginia and Kenyada (Ed) Curry of Stephens, Arkansas; three uncles, Keith Arnold of Camden, Arkansas; Phillip Porchia and Walter Jr. (Melissa) Watkins of Waldorf, Maryland; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, April 3, 2026 at Proctor Funeral Home from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.  Service will be Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Mt. Gillard Baptist Church at 11:00 AM.  Mt. Gillard Baptist Church is located at 112 Ouachita Road 395, Camden, Arkansas.  Interment will be at Patton Cemetery.
