Norma Jean Braswell, 85, of Camden, AR passed away Tuesday, May 7. 2024. She was born November 26, 1938 to Cleo and Milda Riggs of Holly Springs, AR.

She graduated from Bearden High School in 1956. In May of 1961 she married Bill Braswell. They have been married for 62 years and raised four children together. Norma was a loving wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Milda Riggs. She is survived by her husband, Bill Braswell of Camden, AR; sisters, Delores Pennington of Holly Springs, AR and Alla Bush and her husband, Bob of Springhill, LA; two sons, Billy Braswell of Lake Village, AR and Donny Braswell of Camden, AR; two daughters, Kathleen Carmody and husband, Scott of Camden, AR and Jeannie Franklin and Husband, Rodney of Camden, AR; grandchildren, Scotty Carmody, Brett Carmody, Andrew Carmody and wife, Lexi, Bailey Carmody, Justin Franklin, Saylor Franklin, and Erin Roberts and her husband Bryant; and a host of family and friends.

Her greatest joys in life were her faith and her family.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 11:00AM at Holly Springs Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
