Nolan Davis, 91, died December 4, 2024. He was born on February 6, 1933, in Lake Providence, LA to James (Jim) Hal Davis and Ora (Fuller) Davis. He worked for International Paper Box Plant in Springhill, LA for 42 years until he retired in 1995. He was a hardworking and very giving man. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He would build anything from a house to many different things for his children to play on. He loved to pick at people and play jokes on anyone from family to coworkers.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolyn (McDonald) Davis; son, Kenneth Daniel Davis; brothers, Preston Davis, Jimmy Wayne Davis, Marvin Dan Davis, Marion Ruel Davis, and his twin, Olan Davis; sisters, Melba Davis, Carolyn (Cat) Smith, Syble Nell Davis and Reba Powell.
He is survived by his son, Tommy Randal Davis of Taylor, AR; daughters, Geovonna Joy Cothren and husband, Tony and Alanna Gail Fife and husband, Rodney of Camden, AR; brother, Rex Davis and wife, Helen of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Dillon Breithaupt (Hallie), Kile Cothern, Loren Davis(Heath), Taylor Fife (Virginia), Adrian Fife, Emily Fife and Gabrielle Fife; great-grandchildren, Julian Vinet, Konner Davis, Kyleigh Hunt and Drake Schmit.
Visitation will be 11:00-1:00PM Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Proctor Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Proctor Chapel. The burial will be in Welcome Cemetery, Taylor, AR.
