Myrtle Riddick, 91 of Camden, AR passed away Sunday, July 03, 2022 at Ouachita County Medical Center. She was born October 29, 1930 to the late Clifton and Beulah Ponder in Lester, AR. She enjoyed going on vacation with the family. She was a stay at home mom and homemaker raising 4 children, and was a master seamstress and enjoyed sewing for anyone that needed something done. She was a member of the Maul Extension Homemakers Club and the Postal Auxiliary. She was a state officer for the Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society. She and her husband enjoyed square dancing and traveling to different state square dance competitions.

She was preceded in death by her parents; six siblings; and her husband, Benny Riddick. She was survived by one daughter, Debbie Tubbs of Shreveport, LA; and three sons, Steve Riddick (Dorthey) of Cahokie, IL, Wayne Riddick (Kathy) of Magnolia, AR and James Riddick (Becky) of Red Oak, TX; eight grandchildren, Guice Mercer, Rick Mercer, Elizabeth Bridges, Alicia Harcrow, Melissa Mims, Matthew Riddick, Trenton Riddick and Preston Riddick; eleven great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 6-8PM at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, July 08, 2022 at 10:00AM at Proctor Funeral Home with burial following at Riddick Cemetery in Troy, AR. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to the Riddick Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 126, Stephens, AR 71764.
