Mildred Ann Mitchell, 87, passed away on February 2, 2025. She was born on April 13, 1937, in Memphis, TN to Willie Neal and Evelyn Martin Morris. Mildred worked as an accountant in California until she retired to McAllen, TX. She later moved to Hot Springs, AR where she would stay until her husband, Bob, passed away in 2017. Then she moved to Memphis, TN, and lived out the rest of her years under the care of her sister. When Mildred was young, she enjoyed playing basketball. She played on the Harmony Grove High School team. She enjoyed telling the story of how she scored over forty points in one game. She enjoyed fishing and playing card games. She really enjoyed playing Mexican train dominoes. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob Mitchell; son, Tim Mitchell; and a sister, Kathy George. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Mitchell; granddaughter, Katie Evans and husband, Brian; great-granddaughter, Hannah Evans; her sister, Laura Seward and her husband, Paul; two nieces, Paula Seward and Gina George; two nephews, Jeff George and Greg George; and a host of family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on February 22, 2025 at 2:00PM at Lakeside Cemetery.
