It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Mike Kidd, who lost his life in a tragic car accident. His passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot fully express, but his love, laughter, and the memories he created will live on forever in the hearts of those who know him.

Mike was the kind of man who never met a stranger. He had a way of making people feel seen, welcome, and valued, and over the years he built friendships everywhere he went. He was proud of his roots, graduating from Harmony Grove High School in 1971, and went on to dedicate more than twenty years of hard work to the Harmony Grove Water Association. Even after retiring, he couldn't slow down, returning to work at Camden Water, continuing to do what he did best: serve others and stay connected to his community.

He found joy in the simple things, especially cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks. Saturdays were his time, sitting in his living room, fully invested in the game, cheering on the hogs with passion and pride. Those moments will forever be remembered by those who sat beside him.

One of his proudest accomplishments was his sobriety. With over twenty years clean and sober, he earned that achievement with quiet strength and deep pride. His journey was not always easy, but it was one that reflected his resilience, his determination, and his love for his family.

Above all else, he was a family man. A devoted and loving husband to his wife, and proud father to his two daughters. He loved his girls deeply and unconditionally. His grandsons were the light of his life. He loved them more than words could ever say. His great-grandchildren brought him so much joy and pride, and he treasured every moment with them. Lastly, he loved all of his fur babies that he and Terry shared. Terry lovingly referred to him as "Cat Daddy".

He was preceded in death by his mother, Reba Goza; his brothers, David Kidd, Ron Goza, and Gary Goza; and his sister, Gail Browder.

He leaves behind his loving wife Terry; his daughters, Holly Hearnsberger (Tim) and Heather Boen (Neal); grandsons, Jayden Hearnsberger (Star) and Mason Hearnsberger; great-grandchildren, Ember, Alex, and Hayden; sisters, Jo Nell Dressell and Vera Word (Ronnie); and countless friends whose lives were better because they knew him.

Though his life was cut far too short, the love he gave, the strength he showed, and the memories he created will never fade. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered, especially in the laughter, the stories, and the Saturdays spent cheering on the Razorbacks.

A memorial service will be held at Proctor Funeral Home on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 2:00PM. There will be a visitation from 1:00PM-2:00PM before the service.
