Michael B Beckwith was born on November 9, 1943, and passed from this life on December 2, 2022 at the age 79. He was a graduate of Texarkana College with an Associate Degree in Diesel Mechanics with Honors. Michael was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War serving 2 tours and retired from Civil Service in 1993. He is preceded in death by his parents Clinton L Beckwith, Altie Lou Beckwith, and younger sister Shelia Burton of Camden, AR. and is survived by his wife Barbara Bryant Beckwith, his sister Lilly "Pat" Janes, and his brother Roland Beckwith.

He is also survived by his children, their spouses, and eleven grandchildren. Michael B Beckwith II and spouse Lana, children Laura and Katie. David B Beckwith and spouse Angelique, children Grayson, Graham, and Gabrielle. Addie K Kelly and spouse David, children Kinzy and Emory. Logan K Beckwith and spouse Mariah, children Serenity, Rylan, Weston, and Silas.

The word that could best describe this man is caretaker. Just days before passing away, he was taking care of things and of those he loved as he did all his life to the best of his ability. He loved his children and his grandchildren. Mike (known by a lot of his friends) was a friend you would want to have when you fell on hard times and during the good times. Never asking what is in it for him, just helping, and being truly loyal. A true man's man with a servant's heart who loved the outdoors and could accomplish any task set before him. Michael Beckwith was a husband, a dad, a Pepaw, and a friend.

The lasting legacy that Michael Beckwith leaves and the lives he touched are represented by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held December 10, 2022 at 11AM at Locust Bayou Missionary Baptist Church.
