Melinda McDaniel was born on September 3, 1973 to Brenda Gilbert and Terry McDaniel. She joined Damascus Baptist Church where she remained until her death. She was a C.N.A., until her health failed, for 28 years and she loved it. Melinda never met a stranger. She loved people.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her loving mother, Brenda (Faymond) Gilbert; her father, Terry McDaniel; loving sisters, Sherrie (Raymond) Gilbert, Crystal McDaniel, Kimberly (Ken) Haynie, Trudy (Terry) Glover; brothers, Marcus (Sonya) McDaniel, Elroy Gilbert, Jimmy (Tina) Sams, Faymond Sams, Jr. and Marcus Cole; nieces, Deija, Trinity, Kenyatta, and Jasmine; nephews, Tycorian, Corey, Jr., Tre, Chance, Zay, and Courtheyous; two great nieces; three great-nephews; goddaughter, Dreka Watson; special great niece, Dior Carson; a special aunt, Barbara McDaniel; a host of aunts and uncles; a special friend, Mario Thomas; and fiancé, Marvin Parham.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Damascus Cemetery in Village, Arkansas.
