Matthew Alan "Matt" Gibbs. 52. passed away on October 20, 2024, at his home. He was born in Camden. AR to William K. Gibbs and Reba Weeks Gibbs on April 18. 1972.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Reba Weeks Gibbs; stepmother, Mary Lue Gibbs; stepsister, Kathy Daneshmandi; nephew, Chase Daneshmandi; and niece, Courtney Fisher.

Matt is survived by his son, Ethan Gibbs; wife, Crystal Gibbs; father, William K. Gibbs; stepbrother, Mike Fisher and wife, Lana; stepbrother, Steve Fisher and wife, Anna; stepbrother-in-law, K.C. Daneshmandi; niece, Krista Merriott and husband, Cory; nephew, Kyle Fisher; niece, Emily Fisher; nephew, Bryce Daneshmandi and wife, Kayla; great nephew, Garrett Merriott. Matt is also survived by sister-in- law, Tanya Garcia and husband, Jeramie; and nephews, Weston Garcia and Jaxon Garcia; mother-in-law, Lana Bird; father-in-law, Denver Bird, Jr. and wife, Melinda.

Matt was a graduate of Camden High School and SAU-Magnolia. He was a top producing Shelter Insurance agent in Camden and was active in the community. He enjoyed the outdoors through activities like hunting, fishing and yard work. Above all, Matt loved spending time with family, especially his son, Ethan.

A life celebration will be held at Cornerstone Church in Camden, on Saturday October 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery will immediately follow the service.
