Mary Singleton, 78, passed away on November 18, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 5, 1945 in Ruston, LA to Harvey and Bessie Smith. Mary was a member of Mt Hebron Church. She enjoyed gardening, listening to music, but loved all forms of shopping. Mary was always known to have a Dr. Pepper and a Mr. Goodbar candy bar nearby. Her greatest joy was spending time with family especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Singleton; a brother, Jessie Coksey; and a sister, Mabel Smith. Mary is survived by her nine children, Terry Smith of Camden, AR, Lula Mae Alexander and husband, Thomas of Fort Smith, AR, Angela Johnson of Fort Smith, AR, Bobby Wayne Johnson and wife, Monica of Texas, Paul Carmona of California, Raylee Johnson of Jacksonville, AR, Christopher Johnson of Fort Smith, AR, Paullita Singleton of Camden, AR, and Lance Singleton of Camden, AR; special friend, Anthony Alexander; and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at New Mt. Hebron Baptist Church on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 11:00AM. Visitation will be held at Proctor Funeral Home on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 5:00PM-8:00PM. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
