Marvin "Marty" Monroe, age 65, of Camden, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.  He was born October 21, 1956, in Arlington, VA and was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Monroe, Sr and Jean Tate.

Marty found fulfillment in providing for his family and his drive for perfection resulted in an almost forty-three-year career as a specialist quality engineer for Aerojet/Rocketdyne, Camden, where Marty developed many meaningful lifelong friendships.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  If Marty wasn't spending time with his family and grandchildren, he could be found working in the yard.

Survivors include his loving wife, Vicki; children, Jason and Lacey Monroe of Hot Springs, AR, Christopher and Tiffany Monroe of Burbank, CA, Amy and Jeff Camp of Cabot, AR, Ashley and Corey Coffman of Lowell, AR, ten grandchildren, Ramsey, Madie, Gavin, Raith, Presley, Macie, Hudson, Ryder, Rory and Swayze, siblings Frank JR. and Diane Monroe of Virginia Beach, VA, Ronnie and Rena Monroe of Bumpas, VA, Danny Monroe of Myrtle Beach, SC, Brad and Michele Monroe of Centerville, VA, Linda and Mike Day of Leesburg, VA, and Cindy Leroy of Denton, TX and numerous nieces & nephews, and a multitude of friends and neighbors.

A memorial service will be held at Cullendale First Baptist Church in Camden, AR on Friday, October 28, at 11:00 am.  Funeral arrangements made by Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, AR.
