Mark Evans

February 9, 1962 – January 20, 2025

Mark Evans, 62, of Bearden, Arkansas, passed away on January 20, 2025 surrounded by family and friends.

Mark was a proud and cherished father and brother, known for his kind heart, work ethic, and an unmatched ability to fix just about anything. He took great pride in his career, dedicating his talents to both his work and the relationships he built with his colleagues. Outside of his professional life, Mark had a passion for woodworking, creating pieces that reflected his skill and creativity. He found joy in solving problems, lending a helping hand, and sharing laughter with family and friends. Such a life, marked by purpose and joy, is a testament to a life well lived. Mark's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and they will carry forward his legacy of resilience, hard work, and love.

He is survived by his children Miranda (Matt) Patterson, Ryan (Chamille) Evans, and Falon Evans as well as his grandsons Hayes and Reeve Patterson and soon to be Baby Evans. He is also survived by his sisters Toni (David) Santifer and Teresa (Bennett) Hopkins and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Tommy Evans and his sister Kathy Evans Rogers.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Friday, January 24, 2025 at Proctor Funeral Home. A grave-side funeral service will be held at Salem Cemetery in Bearden, Arkansas at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Christian Health Center in Camden, Arkansas or to HOPE Landing in El Dorado, Arkansas.
