Obituary

Marion Garmany Tutt, 99, of Camden, AR, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024. He was born July 21, 1924, in Buena Vista, AR. He was the son of the late Walter B. and Christine Garmany Tutt. He was a member of the Buena Vista Methodist Church since 1935, Drafted when he was 17 years old into the United States Army and served during World War II and Korea War, awarded the Philippine Liberation Medal, Philippine Republic Presidential Unit Citation Badge, Bronze Star, Mason, Graduate of Buena Vista High School and State A. & M. College in May 1949.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marquerite A. Tutt; stepson, George Michael Silliman; three brothers, John A. Tutt, Lyndell M. Tutt and Walter Wayland Tutt; three sisters, Evelyn Tutt Shirey, Margie Ann Tutt Bryant, and Glen Rose Tutt Weable.

He is survived by one brother, Loel G. Tutt and wife, Phyllis; stepson, David Silliman and wife, Becky; great-grandson, Ledger Lamkin; sister-in-law, Martha Lee Tutt; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Buena Vista Methodist Church or VFW Post 4554, 115 Ouachita 212, Camden, AR 71701.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Buena Vista Methodist Church. A burial will follow in Buena Vista Cemetery. Rev. Benny Morgan will officiate the service. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
