Marion Butch Dorris, 76, of Louann, AR, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, with his wife, Mary whom he loved very deeply. Butch was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and a proprietor of Jack's Trading Post for many years. He loved his family, his animals and most importantly his God. He enjoyed football, hunting and fishing and was truly one in a million who lived on his terms.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kristie Michelle Dorris; parents, Ollie Mildred Dorris and Jack Dorris; sisters, Pauline Belt, Mildred Carroll, and Earline Bennett; brothers, Gary Dorris and Donald Dorris.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelli Dorris of Spokane, WA; granddaughter, Kathrine Dorris of Milwaukee, WI; two grandsons, Joseph Dorris of San Antonio, TX and Caleb Dorris of Spokane, WA; two great-granddaughters and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside service will be 1:00PM Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Chambersville Cemetery, Thornton, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
