Lonnie Wayne Smith, 72, of Louann, AR, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024. He was born March 23, 1952, in Camden, AR. He was the son of the late James Robert and Mary Corine Furo Smith. He was a member of the Sulphur Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church, avid fisherman and hunter, loved Razorback Sports, loved his grandchildren and great-grandchild, loved his wife of 53 years Nancy Joette Smith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Robert, and Mary Corine Furo Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Joette Smith; three daughters, Shannon Lanette McKnight and husband, Tony, Larissa Darleen Eiland and Kandi Corine Valdez all of Louann, AR; three sisters, Linda Weathersby of Frenchport, AR, Earlene Rogers and husband, Ricky of Harmony Grove, AR and Debbie Camp of Magnolia, AR; seven grandchildren, Justin McKnight, Christopher Smith, Tristian Eiland, Logan Eiland, Cody Smith and wife, Sierra, Daniel Valdez and Dylan Valdez all of Louann, AR; one great-grandchild, Emersyn Smith of Louann, AR; host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM Friday, May 31, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will be in Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
