Obituary

Linda Gail Pickett Purifoy of Camden passed away peacefully Thursday, September 22, 2002 at the age of 75. She was born March 10, 1947 in Camden, Arkansas to the late Thurston and Blanche Pickett. She was a longtime citizen of Camden, Arkansas. She married her high school sweetheart Roger Polk Purifoy May 28, 1965 on the night she graduated from Chidester High School. They were married 57 years.

Linda was known as a loving wife, mother, meme and a wonderful friend to all that knew her. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and she let everyone know it. She was a kind person and would help anyone that needed it. She will be greatly missed but all can take great joy in knowing that she is with our Lord and Savior.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Purifoy of Camden; her son, Roger Purifoy, II of Hot Springs; her daughter, Wendy Meeks of Camden; her grandsons, Roger "Trey" Purifoy, III of Ft. Smith, Skylar Purifoy of Hot Springs, Ryne (Khia) Meeks of Oklahoma City, Jake Meeks of Greenwood; two great grandchildren, Aubrie and Forrest Meeks; a host of nieces and nephews; two brothers, Howell "Punch" (Patricia) Pickett of Hot Springs Village and Jerry "Tiny" (Jimmie Lou) Pickett of Camden.

Friends and family are invited to attend graveside services at the Chidester Cemetery on October 15, 2022 at 11:00AM to pay their respects and to celebrate her life.
