Linda Gilchrist, 84 of Camden, AR passed away, Sunday, January 26, 2025 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, AR.  She was born July 26, 1940 in Prescott, AR to Clifton and Jessie Earlene Vaden VanMeter. She was member of First Baptist Church, Junior Auxiliary, PEO and DAR, led multiple bible studies and was a Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Gilchrist.  She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Gilchrist of Camden, AR; sister, Suzanne Walker and husband, Tommy of Irving, TX; and numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:30PM to 1:30PM Saturday, February 01, 2025 in the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church.  A memorial graveside service will be 2:00PM Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Stephen Watson officiating.  Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 348 W Washington St, Camden, AR, 71701 or to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
