Linda Sue Arnn, 70, died August 7, 2023 with her family by her side. Sue was born March 28, 1953, in Dermott (Chicot County), Arkansas, to Cleo Bryan and Betty Jane Arnn. Sue was a believer in Jesus and lived out her faith with strong conviction. For many years she taught a ladies Sunday school class at her church as well as played piano and organ for her local congregation. Sue was a devoted daughter and cared for her mother for twelve years prior to her mother's passing. She had a passion for gardening that stemmed from having grown up on the family farm in Dermott. She taught school for 28 years in a number of places in Arkansas and was a lifelong reader and student of God's Word.
Sue was predeceased by her father and mother. She is survived by one sister, Dottie Brown (Richard) of Little Rock, a niece, Sarah Ross (Chris) of Little Rock and a nephew, Maj. Richard Andrew Brown, U.S.M.C (Carrie) of Jacksonville, NC.
Visitation will be at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, AR, Monday, August 14, 2023, 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Grace Baptist Church in Camden, AR, 10 am Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Services will be conducted by Dr. Richard Foster, Pastor of Grace Baptist Church, Camden. Interment will be 2:00PM at the Dermott City Cemetery, West Gaines Street, Dermott, AR.
Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 1505 California Avenue SW, Camden, AR, 71701. The family expresses special appreciation to the Baptist Hospital Critical Care Staff.
