Lawrence David Elliott passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at his home with family by his side.

Lawrence was born October 21, 1937, in Camden, Arkansas.  He was a 1956 graduate of Fairview School and served 8 years in the National Guard.  He then started working for Kenneth Long at Long Sheet Metal and later purchased the business.  He was owner operator for Elliott's Roofing and Sheet Metal until his retirement.  While in his working and entrepreneur days he made many friends that became more like family. One of his greatest joys was working with the kids and calling square dances.

He was preceded in death by his son, David Elliott; brothers, James, Wyley and George; mother, Adele Matthews; stepfather, Newton Matthews; father, George Elliott and stepmother, Clidell Elliott.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Elliott; son, Mike Elliott; grandsons, Lance and Zack Elliott; granddaughter, Madison Elliott; two great grands, Bentley and Harley Elliott; brothers, Bobby Matthews of Camden; and Billy Bob Elliott of Texas.
